Bhubaneswar – Temple City
Welcome to Bhubaneswar, the 'Temple City of India' and seat of Lord Lingaraj. Check in and visit the Museum of Tribal Arts, Ekamra Haat, Utkalika, the Odisha State Museum, Lingaraj Temple, Rajarani Temple, Ananta Vasudeva Temple and the Khandagiri & Udayagiri caves. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.
Dhauli – Pipli – Raghurajpur – Konark – Puri
Visit the Dhauli peace pagoda, Pipli's appliqué-work village and the Raghurajpur artisan village. See the UNESCO-listed Konark Sun Temple, with the Ramchandi Temple and Chandrabhaga Beach en route. Check in at Puri, then visit the Jagannath Temple and Golden Beach. Overnight stay at Puri.
Chilika Lake
Excursion to Chilika Lake (Satapada), Asia's largest brackish-water lagoon and a paradise for birdwatchers – white-bellied sea eagles, greylag geese, purple moorhens, flamingos, jacanas and herons, especially in winter. Overnight stay at Puri.
Puri – Bhubaneswar Departure
After breakfast, check out and, if time permits, take darshan at the Jagannath Temple and visit Gundicha Temple, Lokanath Temple, Sonar Gouranga Temple and Bedi Hanuman Temple. Drop at Bhubaneswar for your onward journey.
