Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Cochin
Arrive in Cochin and check in to the hotel. Same day, visit Fort Kochi Beach, the Chinese fishing nets, Mattancherry Palace, Marine Drive, Bolgatty Palace and Greenix Museum with a Kathakali dance performance. Overnight stay at Cochin.
Cochin – Munnar (150 km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, transfer to Munnar, visiting Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls and tea plantations on the way. Check in on arrival, then visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park – open as directed by the forest authorities), the best place to see the Nilgiri Tahr, and the Tea Museum. Evening short visit to Munnar town. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for Munnar sightseeing – Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothenmedu View Point and Blossom Park – with time for shopping. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Munnar – Thekkady (110 km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, drive along one of Kerala's most picturesque hill highways to Thekkady (Periyar), a world-famous wildlife sanctuary and tiger reserve. Check in on arrival. In the afternoon, enjoy a 1½-hour game-viewing cruise on Periyar Lake to spot elephants, monkeys, deer and wild boar. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Thekkady – Alleppey (150 km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Alleppey, known for one of Kerala's best beaches, its 137-year-old pier, palm groves, an ancient lighthouse and a seaside garden. Relax and picnic at the beach. Overnight stay at Alleppey.
Alleppey – Kovalam (160 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kovalam, one of India's prime beach destinations – Lighthouse Beach with views of the Vizhinjam Mosque, Samudra Beach and Eve's Beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Trivandrum Sightseeing & Departure
After breakfast, proceed for Trivandrum sightseeing – Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Kuthira Malika Palace Museum, Napier Museum, the Zoological Gardens and Shanghumugham Beach. Drop at Trivandrum Airport / Railway Station.
